Invincible novel and this donghua has the most repetitive xianxia cliches and annoyances i had ever seen so far but there are couple of novels & donghuas that uses just as much too but there are some that portrayed to a lesser extent, like A Will Eternal, Fanren, Dragon's Disciple, Yong Sheng, Douluo Dalu
There also a dumb nonsensical line that some donghuas always overused, whenever those stupid side characters would tries to kill the MC, but when MC managed to fend off or kill off one of those attackers, they would cry like a bitch as if they were the victims, and shouted at the MC they will kill him for injuring or killing their people...FFS you were already trying to kill the MC in the first place!

Yup, from an English speakers perspective, its true to say that the opponents will almost always use the same lines. Its like the old black and white movies, or even silent movies where the villain has the girl tied up to the train tracks and the Lone Ranger (or some other hero) unties her before she gets run over by a train and the villain twirls his evil moustache while saying, "Curses! Foiled again!" After you hear "Curses! Foiled again!" a few dozen times it gets old. Of course movies nowadays are a little different. If you try googling a scene where a girl is getting a train run on her...you might not see the same innocent black & white movies I remember.
